I live outside the walls of traditional everything. If I had been born five hundred years ago, I'd have sailed the seven seas like Jack Sparrow. If I were born five hundred years from now, I'd hover among the stars like George Jetson... Again, I'm dreaming. You'll notice a common thread as you traverse this wonderland deeper.

What I'm Working On

  1. Community building for clients. Sure, I identify as a email marketer, but my work extends beyond email's scope. My work is quieter, slower, more precise, less blunt force. Clients hire me for one reason. They cherish an intimate relationship with their customers.
  2. Experience taught me customer participation long before transactions virtually guarantees brand success.
  3. Keeping up appearances as an Explorer. A trip back to the Bay Area to see the old man is in order. Japan (For their denim, leather and whisker), London and Spain (might call home in three years) after.
  4. Another dust up. My fourth, perhaps sixth attempt to learn European Spanish.
  5. Photography and videography. Inspired by Casey Neistat during the pandemic I took aim at Youtube. My relationship with my Sony was rather tit for tat. I have an inkling this time will be better. Look out for my newish Youtube channel showcasing "noun work" (people, places and things).
  6. Finally the lion share. Two newsletters. Two narratives. One personal journey.

Blaak Museum - An explorer's journey creating wonder. Part autobiography, part creative marketing practice. Blaak Museum lives here on this platform. Blaak Museum is so many things: A business plan, resume, thesis, training ground. It's how I conduct myself personally and professionally. It's proof of concept that any creative can build a lifestyle and business with one through line. Building an identity and community, while moving in a respectable way.

House of Wonder - An explorer's journey chasing wonder through fashion, art, lifestyle, culture, music, design, travel, and deeply flawed living. Think magazine in autobiography format. As I build Blaak Museum, ideas for House of Wonder will emerge. Eventually both publications will communicate together.

If you find yourself in the heartbeat of my experiences - where my creative energy and cockamamie ideas come from. If you want your brand to get there, just follow the various nooks and crannies inside this blog. I work with the garage door open and my personal and commercial work is designed to commingle.

Wanna hire me? Email me... If not, stay for the experience.
